Carlene has been labeled “a class act entertainer”, receiving 2 awards at The 2010 Reel Awards in Las Vegas for her Celebrity Tributes to Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Natalie Cole, and Aretha Franklin. She has also received 2 of 3 awards for which she was nominated at The 2008 Reel Awards and 2008 Artist Choice Awards in Las Vegas for her production and performance in Dreamgirls Tribute. Dreamgirls Tribute also received The 2009 Reel Award for The Most Outstanding Tribute To A Group for the second year straight. Some of the other nominees include running shows in Las Vegas such as “Fab Four Live” (A Beatles Tribute show), and “Barbra & Frank: The Concert That Never Was”. The Reel Awards, held in Las Vegas for the past 18 years, acknowledges the accomplishments of professional Tribute Artists internationally, similar to The Academy Awards for celebrities.
